Easy painted wreath project

Last year I bought two pinecone wreaths at Target that I still like, but since they're the exact same color as our front doors, they look pretty boring on our house. I decided I had nothing to lose by giving them a coat of bright red lacquer spraypaint that I already had from another project. Thinking I'd give it a few coats to make them really pop, I started spraying. After the first thin coat, though, I realized I like how the natural wood color was peaking through the red. The newly painted wreaths look great on the front of our house now. It goes to show, sometimes you just have to give a project a try and see what happens!
