Week forty: let's go shopping

So at a certain point, I think about something so long I almost start to hate it. I will see, say, a light that I think could work for a certain place, get Andy's opinion, and ask him again, read every review ever written about it, measure for it, stare at the place it'll go for way longer than I should admit, and visit the website link four gazillion times to the point where I am just so sick of thinking about it, I need to buy the thing already and get it over with.

Sometimes that happens about a lot of things all at the same time.

And I go shopping.

A couple of Fridays ago, I couldn't take it anymore. There were so many things for the house that I was at this point with, I went ahead and bought them all. Yep, all of them.

Even though my credit card bill might be a bit heavy this month, I've got to admit I am really glad to have all of this done.

Here's what I got:

• light for the reading room
• light for the kitchen hallway
• rug for the entry
• bedroom curtains
• giant wall clock
• and a paper-mache rhinoceros head

Now I just need to get all of it out of the boxes and where it belongs.
